A phrase like this excites some and terrifies others, especially if it comes from someone who is very successful.  What we all need to realize though that makes it less overwhelming is that success is a choice.  When you decide, and truly believe that success is the only acceptable outcome, suddenly you have razor sharp focus and the steps you need to take in order to make your dreams come true become very clear.  You are no longer afraid and you’re on your way!

In talking to many successful people both in life and fitness - this theory certainly holds true.  The times they really believed in themselves and believed that whatever it was they wanted was DESTINED to happen, guess what?  The wheels started to turn and one thing after another started pushing them towards their goal.  When they started to question things or accept that maybe things might not go their way, they didn’t.  Self-fulfilled prophecy.

Stop doubting yourself and look forward in the direction of your goal.  Imagine for a moment that you have achieved what it is you want…..FEEL it!  Don’t you want to feel that way for real?  Make the decision that you WILL feel that way.  In-fact, approach each day as if your goal is already achieved and suddenly your mindset will become so positive that everything you do will bring you closer to being the “Ultimate You” without you even realizing it.  MAKE IT HAPPEN!

It won’t always be easy; there will be a LOT of hard work that you will need to put in but when you have a true vision and plan and goal, every decision you make will be a step towards what you want.  If you think of it like that, taking little steps each and every day and succeeding in those steps then it seems way less daunting, doesn’t it?
